Managing Your Account

Your Account settings let you manage your profile, email addresses, connected login methods, password, and active devices. This is separate from your Twofold app settings (such as Note Settings or Personal Info), which control how Twofold itself works.

Opening Account settings

  1. Click your profile icon (with your initials) in the top right corner of Twofold

  2. Click Configure

  3. The Account modal opens with two tabs: Profile and Security

Profile tab

The Profile tab shows your account identity and how you sign in.

Profile — Your name and avatar. Click Update profile to change your name or upload a profile picture.

Email addresses — The email addresses associated with your account. Your primary email is marked Primary. Click + Add email address to add another, or use the menu (⋮) next to an existing address to remove it or change which one is primary.

Connected accounts — Third-party login providers (such as Google) linked to your account. Click + Connect account to link a new provider, or use the menu (⋮) to disconnect an existing one.

Security tab

The Security tab covers password and device management.

Password — Manage the password used to sign in. The exact options shown here depend on whether you currently have a password set. See How to Reset or Change Your Password for details.

Active devices — A list of devices currently signed in to your account, including device type, browser, location, and the time of the last activity. The device you're currently using is labeled This device. To sign out a device remotely, click the menu (⋮) next to it.

If you see a device you don't recognize, sign it out and reset your password.

Closing the Account modal

Click the X in the top right of the modal to return to Twofold.
