How to Reset or Change Your Password

There are three ways to reset or change your Twofold password, depending on whether you're locked out, already have a password, or signed up using Google or Apple.

If you can't log in: use Forgot Password

If you've forgotten your password and can't sign in:

  1. Go to the Twofold login page

  2. Click Forgot Password

  3. Enter your email address

  4. Check your email for a reset link and follow the instructions to set a new password

If you're logged in and want to change your password

If you already have a password and want to update it:

  1. Click your profile icon (with your initials) in the top right corner

  2. Click Configure

  3. Open the Security tab

  4. Click Update password

  5. Enter your current password, then your new password

  6. Save your changes

If you signed up with Google or Apple: set a password

If you originally signed in using Google or Apple, you don't have a password set yet. To add one:

  1. Click your profile icon in the top right corner

  2. Click Configure

  3. Open the Security tab

  4. Click Set password

  5. Enter and confirm your new password

  6. Save your changes

Once you've set a password, you'll be able to sign in using either your password or your connected account.
