Capture key details before your session to enhance note accuracy and save time

Updated over 3 months ago

In Twofold, you have the ability to capture essential pre-visit details and by that improve the accuracy of your documentation. Follow these steps to effectively incorporate pre-visit information into your note-taking process.

  1. Start a Session

Log into your Twofold account and initiate a session by clicking the “Capture” button. This starts the recording process for capturing the session or pre-session details.

  2. Provide Pre-Visit Context

Before meeting with the patient, record a brief summary including:

    • Patient’s initials or name

    • Age

    • Relevant medical history

    • Reason for the visit (e.g., follow-up, new symptoms, routine checkup).

This helps provide necessary context for generating a more accurate note.

  3. Pause the Session

Once you’ve recorded the summary, press “Pause”. This allows you to prepare without continuing the recording, saving the pre-visit details for later use.

  4. Resume the Session

Once the patient interaction begins, simply resume the session. Twofold will incorporate the pre-recorded context, helping generate a complete and accurate note in real-time.

Benefits of Preparing Notes in Advance

  • Share Pre-Visit Information: By preparing notes in advance, you can document and share important patient details before the interaction begins, ensuring smoother and more informed sessions.

  • Reduce Editing Time: Providing necessary context ahead of time allows Twofold to generate more accurate notes, significantly reducing the time needed for post-session edits.
